Industrial Visit to RIL Vadodara

Dr. SSBUICET IPI Student Chapter Chandigarh headed by Minto Shelley got the privilege to visit Reliance Industries Ltd Vadodara on 5th & 6th October 2017. It was an experience that filled our minds with such great creations. Being Chemical Engg or Food Technology students we know the major role that plastics play in our everyday life & hence have now become inevitable part of our lives. The plant in Vadodara mainly deals in Product Research and Development & the manufacturing unit. It deals in technical support, product improvement & market development. On 6th October we went to PDC (Plasticulture Development Centre) which is a non-profit organisation that educates farmers on the various uses of plastics in the field of agriculture. It is spread across 22 acres farm, has 28 technics to demonstrate farmers in the form of exhibitions, concept booklet, low cost modules & quality products in coordination with PARC.
